Introduction: 1993 as Bronze 502 (Major improvements made in 1997, along with logo and name change to just "502".

NOTE: This is sometimes mistakenly called "Soz" because of misreading the font introduced in 1997.

In addition to their trusted projection, vibrant resonance, and musicality, 502's gain warmth and complex harmonics due to their improved features.( Paiste has made a total commitment to providing the musician with real choices of sound colors in all cymbal lines and a complete range of models and sizes even at the intermediate and entry level, so that drummers and percussionists are not limited in any way. Note the improved appearance of the 502, which adds to the pride and joy of owning a genuine Paiste cymbal.
