Review: With a big 8" bell, this ride has a dark powerful presence. Riding the profile gives you the power to project, while a strike on the bell should be able to wake the dead. This reminds me of the Rude 24" "Eclipse" Ride, but perhaps not as dark and dry. I would NOT recommend this to the person looking for a John Bonham-type Ride sound. This is not what you need. I could see using this in the Hard Rock/ Metal genres though. It would probably be a fun ride to use in a stoner metal or grunge band. This does NOT take prisoners. It craves wimp blood!
