Review: What can I say about this bad boy. I am super happy with it. The bell is cutting, large, and very pingy. The ride is not extra heavy, but close. I would call it very heavy. A must for every metal/rock drummer. Played as a ride (not bell) this baby has it all. Plenty of volume, and great wash. Sustain is just right, a bit long, but the more I realize it, sustain and wash is good for my style of music, so this baby is right at home with me. Ping, then some more ping. It matches my 2002 power crash very nicely. Stranjluv101 can add more to this, as he has the same ride. But, if I was to say anything more about this it would be that this ride is almost perfect (want extra heavy), and the bell is very nice. Great for medium to loud settings. Please, snag one up if you get the chance, it's better (IMO) then any ride currently offered by Paiste, and for sure in the 2002 line up. I had a new 22" 2002 power ride a few months back, and would take this over that any day. So, if you get the chance, email Paiste and tell them, BRING BACK THE POWER BELL RIDE! This baby is tight, and just right for me! Bottom line is this is the best ride I have played, HANDS DOWN! Paiste is plain silly for discontinuing this ride, they need a new version of this; either heavy bell or power bell in 2002!

Review: This is a nice one! Like ROMAN said, nice and pingy, loud with a nice wash. What I like about this ride is that I can get a few different rides out of it. Played near (or on) the bell gives me a well defined bell ping, good for cutting through. Playing on the mid section of the profile gives me a washy sound, a little definition, but a great all-around ride sound. Played near the edge gives me even more wash and less ping for that Van Halen You Really Got Me sort of sound. (on steroids) If you can pick one of these discontinued rides up for less than $200 USD, I think you'll be happy.
