Review: It sounds very good indeed. Very versatile cymbal. Explosive and loud when hit hard. Medium trashy with fairly long sustain...like many Chinas in this era. Some dark tones. Very sensitive played softer with about 4 distinct sounds. Also very ride-able. I think I will finally make an attempt to record something starting with this one. Stay tuned.

Review: The 20" is loud, fast, loud, trashy, and did I mention loud already? However, that one too has a lot of overtones, as most Paiste Chinas. This too is very "CSHH"-like.

Review: WOW! Now this is LOUD! The 18" 2002 China is a great china, but perhaps not loud enough or trashy enough. The 22" 2002 China loses some attack, and lets the trash overwhelm the overall sound. BUT, this 20" is just the right combination of trash and attack. Even though it's just 2" larger, it speaks so much more loudly the the 18" 2002 China. This is even louder than my 2002 20" Novo China. It's a beautiful cymbal.
