Review: These are my newest pies,and man was I surprised by how well I liked them! These are chick monsters! They have a nice full sound that you'd expect from heavy cymbals. To my ears they weren't dull sounding like heavier cymbals seem to me. I had a BALL of fun playing the intro to Led Zeppelin's "The Crunge" over and over. (at least, I THINK that was the song I was playing!) They came in pretty tarnished,and the eBay seller had taped them together, leaving a residue on the bottom side of one.

I normally play a 2002 14" Sound Edge Hi-Hat, but I think I'll play on these for awhile. I did compare them to the 3000 14" Heavy Hi-Hat, and they seem a little darker. You can tell in the closeup pics below these have a pretty complex lathing, somewhat similar to Signature's, and pretty much the same as the 3OOO hats I mentioned.
